This large, privately owned company is focused on the importation and sales of electronic components, accessories and gadget type products. The extensive product range is sold through more than 80 company owned retail outlets and 140 Authorised Stockists via their wholesale division in Australia and New Zealand. This business has been established for over 30 years and continues to expand rapidly.

They are currently seeking an experience Channel Development Manager / sales professional to manage and grow the sales within its successful wholesale division. The role is one of leadership and has responsibility for your sales territory. The wholesale business operates in a number of markets distributing products to retailers, stockists, manufacturers, equipment installers and government.

Employing your business development and territory management skills, your key focus will be achieving sales revenue, targets and business growth. In this strategic role, you will work with a diverse product range that allows for a unique selling opportunity to suit a number of markets, providing them with exceptional service. Specific attention needs to be given to value add activities such as in store merchandising, range growth and future product strategies.

A driven and passionate sales professional, you have a strong sales background and a history of managing the sales process, ideally with an exposure to wholesale sales. Results-focused, your strategic approach incorporates identifying opportunities, targeting clients, planning for profit and effective negotiation. If you are motivated and customer service-oriented, you will thrive in this role. Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing would be advantageous.
